IN THEIR WORDS

Voices From the Field

From the volunteers who showed up, cooked, carried, and listened.

"Our Second Solidarity Soup brought harmony, love, and smiles to children, elders, and expectant mothers."

Seeing the smiles on the faces of children, young people, and families reminded us why we do what we do. We reached 7-year-old children, elders aged 50–70, and displaced expectant mothers, sharing warmth, care, and hope with every meal.

Avô Kumbi Hospital, Maternity and Children's Hospital,

  • "Your kindness showed us that humanity is still alive."

Many families in Palanca face hunger and difficult living conditions. Seeing people come together to offer food, care, and compassion meant more than words can express. Acts of love like these remind our community that no one should face hardship alone.

    Branca João – Palanca Community

  • "Palanca was chosen because we saw a community that truly needed our support."

Our mission goes beyond providing meals. By delivering solidarity soup and basic food baskets, we aim to restore dignity and hope to families in need. Through Born to Help Others, we remain committed to improving lives with a focus on education, healthcare, and community support across Angola.

"Our Solidarity Feijoada brought joy while giving us the chance to listen to our community's real needs."

In Palanca, we distributed food baskets, shared meals, and listened to the concerns of families facing difficult living conditions. Every conversation strengthened our commitment to serve with greater impact and compassion.

Testimonials

Every smile tells a story of hope.

The happiness on the children's faces showed the true impact of our work. Beyond food and support, we shared love, care, and unforgettable moments that reminded them they are valued and never alone.

My name is Chagas, we liked the food a lot, it was a surprise they gave us. Several people at this time had not eaten, but with the help they provided, it made things much easier for the people here, and we can only thank them very much.

Chagas

Jo, my name is... some rice and beans, sausage, chicken, it was good, I liked it.

Jo

"My name is Cris... [smile], we liked the food a lot, may the uncle come back to give more food."

Cris

"Princess Sara, I liked the food, the food was very good. I also liked their company, they helped us."
