The Organization

Our Journey of Hope

Born to Help Others was founded on January 14, 2025, with a clear vision: to create new opportunities and long-term prospects for people in Angola.

What began with a small team of dedicated individuals is gradually growing into a movement for positive change. With passion, perseverance, and a strong belief in every person’s potential, we implement projects that strengthen communities and create hope.

Our three core areas are education, health, and economic development. Through practical projects, we create new opportunities and empower people to shape their own futures.

Our work brings us together with children, families, and local communities. We provide direct support through meals, food packages, educational programs, and health initiatives. At the same time, we develop long-term solutions that promote dignity, independence, and sustainable development.

Photographer

“I am involved with Born to Help Others because authentic images motivate, touch people, and raise awareness. Through respectful documentation, I make progress visible and strengthen confidence in our shared vision.”

Julius Garba
Videographer

“I am involved with Born to Help Others because moving images bring stories to life. Through my camera, I capture encounters, challenges, and progress. This results in films that offer insight, connect people, and make the work of BTHO visible.”

Dr. Ramadan
Lead Physician

“I am involved with Born to Help Others because health is the foundation for a self-determined life. Through prevention, education, and targeted medical interventions, people can be supported in taking responsibility for their own health and sustainably improving their quality of life.”

Patrick Schweizer
Environment and Sustainability Responsible

“I am involved with Born to Help Others because protecting our environment is inextricably linked to the future of humanity. Through a system where collected plastic waste can be exchanged for food, we combine environmental protection with tangible social support. In doing so, we reduce waste, foster environmental awareness, and simultaneously improve the living conditions of local communities in Angola.”

Karine Mulumba
Head of Architecture and Sustainable Construction

„Mein Engagement bei Born to Help Others beruht auf der Überzeugung, dass sichere und gut geplante Räume Menschen Halt geben. Nachhaltige Baukonzepte schaffen Schutz, stärken die Würde und ermöglichen eine langfristige, selbstbestimmte Entwicklung.“

Daniel Beyerlein
Education and Digital Learning Responsible

“My involvement with Born to Help Others is rooted in the conviction that education opens up new perspectives. Using digital learning tools, we provide a clear, practical introduction to fundamental academic and medical concepts. At the same time, we foster communication skills, understanding, and cognitive development—enabling individuals to grasp complex connections, expand their knowledge, and shape their own futures.”

A Message from Our Founder

“We do not build schools. We build the capacity of a community to dream, to learn, and to rise. Angola is not a place we help it is a place we belong.”
